Divinely Aromatic
This may sound weird, but I've been searching for a fragrance that is spiritual. What does that mean, you ask? To me, it is a scent that reminds me of peace, tranquility, joy, love, and comfort...a fragrance that I can smell when I need a spiritual restoration. But yet, spiritual also means a scent that is femininely enticing and passionate, like the beloveds in Song of Songs. After about a ten year search and purchasing samples and other full bottle fragrances, I found Tom Ford's Plum Japonais. The perfume wafts heavenly aromas of ume plum, incense, cinnamon, saffron, and camellia japonica. The ume plum is said to be a sacred symbol for spring. It's seductively enticing, yet transcends you into a place of tranquility. My husband adores this fragrance. I love to put it on before I go to bed and experience a lullaby of luscious aroma. If I were to categorize this fragrance, I'd say it is Oriental/Middle Eastern spice with just a light touch of fruit and floral. It is divinely aromatic. As far as longevity, I decant all of my fragrances into classy, refillable rollerball atomizers. These are perfect for air travel, and it seems to diffuse the perfume in a more concentrated amount exactly where you want it on your body giving all your perfumes an oomph of lasting power. That being said, I find that the Plum Japonais' notes last for at least 4-6 hours on my skin. If you have a chance, sample this unique fragrance. It is beautiful.

Reminded me of Shalimar
I am a huge TF fan and sadly, I didn’t love this one. The notes were muddy and very sharp. I had smelled this on someone else and it had a sweeter much more discernible presence. I wore it one time before I realized it smelled too much like Shalimar from back in the day. I had to return it but I will be purchasing other TF scents. Again, it smelled great on a friend but dreadful on myself.

Simply Amazing
I blind bought this, not feminine. This is beyond words and Tom Ford does not disappoint. I have several Tom Ford fragrances. This is one of my favorites. I am a macho male and love this fragrance. The only problem is i have to hide this from the girlfriend.

OMG
I received a sample of this fragrance in a magazine, and thought I'd just rub it on my hands carry the scent for a few minutes, which is about how long magazine samples last, Right... Oh my GOODNESS the "aroma" of this divine fragrance took me away I had to pull over and really read what the heck this was, I was mesmerized by the palm of my hand from 3 o'clock this afternoon to a faint sent still lingering at 10 minutes to 10 tonight through many hand washings and a hot bath which tell me it will hold it's scent throughout the day not in an obnoxious way but in a gentle lingering sorta way - my next man is going to buy me this...ohh yeah

Stunning fragrance
This fragrance is a bit heavy for summer use, unless perhaps for an evening out. It has a truly unique scent, and I love florals/fruity -- but this has a musky undertone and it's hard to explain, but I love all the changes this scent goes through -- every note is unique and intriguing.
Once I smelled this, I HAD to have it and I'm notoriously indesicive about choosing fragrances. In my mind, however, it seemed like a more concentrated, slightly heavier version than my Omnia Crystalline, which I love, but does not last and is very light. I can see these two going "together" if you will, and I like that as sometimes my clothes will carry a scent for a while.

unique scent
Very unique spicy scent, though is more masculine. It will smell better on my husband.
