Absolutely Iconic
Neroli Portofino is the coastline of the Mediterranean--the eclipse of land by jewel-bright waters. It is both earth and sea. It is a lemon grove dotted along the countryside, it is orange blossoms cradled in bare arms, a field of lavender, and a heady veil of amber, jasmine, and rosemary that falls at night. It is female, and it is male. It is pleasure, and it is stillness.

Fades Instantly
I own dozens of perfumes, they're my passion. This is the biggest disappointment I've ever experienced because the scent is so delicious yet it fades within minutes. Like less than five minutes. Don't waste your money.

Great fragrance...for an hour
I got a bottle of Neroli Portofino back in November of 2011 and fell in love with it, it wasn't too floral or feminine for me like many unisex fragrances are and even though I wore it in the winter, it seemed to be fit for any season. But I purchased a second bottle recently and after the price went up some I'm thinking that when Tom Ford changed the price from 265 to 280, he may have changed the the amounts of several ingredients because the second bottle smelled lighter and less lasting than before and the citrus in it was more biting than soothing. Despite the change I thought I noticed, the fragrance seemed to disappear faster than before. I sprayed it on my skin and noticed I could barely smell it an hour later and assumed it was because of my own biochemistry but then i sprayed it on a shirt of mine hanging up and came back an hour later to find that it still was barely noticeable. That's when I got very disappointed because I wasn't around it to be desensitized to it and it still faded too quickly.
I returned it for a bottle of tobacco vanille and don't regret it.
If your'e someone who doesn't mind reapplying a fragrance several times a day then go ahead and get this but if your'e like me and spray once in the morning and maybe in the evening then I would recommend getting something else. The fragrance is one of the greatest ones I've ever smelled but it's not worth it for me, although lavender palm is somewhat similar to this (a little more formal and balmy) and lasts a very very long time so for people who love Neroli Portofino but don't like how diluted it seems, get Lander palm.

Weak. Scent vanishes quickly. Disappointing
Extremely disappointing. After 2 hours the scent is barely noticeable even with 3 sprays. You have to press your nose directly to the skin to even catch a resemblance of what it should smell like. Even their deodorant version of this lasts most of the day. It's unfortunate because the scent is great. I strongly advise not to purchase this. Other TF parfums are longer lasting with great projection such as Tobacco Vanille, Oud Wood and Tuscan Leather. Neroli Portofino is a waste of money. Steer clear.

Neverlasting...
So disappointed in this fragrance !! I love the scent and knew I would as I adore high quality Neroli-based perfumes. The disappointment stems from the abject failure of this EDP (is it REALLY an EDP?) to linger more than a few minutes after even liberally applying! I began with the soap followed by the body oil and finally a spritz of the EDP. When it disappeared, I quickly spritzed a liberal amount...and again it was gone. The following day I left off the body oil, spritzed liberally and...nothing changed...I LOVE the scent but I've worn body splashes with more staying power. Color me terribly disappointed...and curious regarding the obviously weak concentration of this EDP.
After perusing other reviews I realized I am not alone regarding this issue...Sadly I cannot recommend this scent based on the horrifically poor lasting impression even after a liberal application.

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino: Room Spray Dupe
Got a decent sample with an order and sprayed on my wrist and arms to test. Ugh. Smelled like cheap room spray around the holiday season or eau de auto air freshener in an airport taxi. Fortunately it didn’t last on me for more than 20 minutes, or a short cab ride. Talk about sticker shock when I saw the price point. Thanks but no thanks.

Total Fail
I thought this was "the one" absolutely love it! although has no staying power at all. Shelled out big money for the parfume to layer with body cream and still a fail...
Going to try the Hermes boutique.....
