What it is: An eau de parfum that merges the purifying essence of palo santo with notes of ebony wood for exquisite calm and spiritual luxury.

Fragrance story: Ébène Fumé conjures transcendent spiritual calm through the mystical essence of palo santo smoke stoked by the warm elegance of cistus absolute, roses and seductive notes of ebony wood, captured in sleek, sublime notes of leather.

Style: Earthy, woody.

Notes: Palo santo wood accord, ebony wood accord, rose.

How to use: On clean skin, spray once or twice on desired areas. Do not rub the fragrance into skin as this will alter how the scent develops.

Ebene Fume is NOT For The Faint Of Heart

This fragrance was a blind buy for me. If you like delicate and soft floral feminine fragrances you will not like or appreciate this fragrance. This fragrance is bold, sophisticated and gives off an air of wealth and will definitely get you noticed. This fragrance emits a smoky, leather and wood scent along with a faint hint of rose. This fragrance offers tremendous longevity and the bottle is as beautiful as the fragrance. Tobacco Vanille will always be my number one favorite fragrance of all time with Ebene Fume landing in my top five. You get what you pay for with Tom Ford fragrances. I now own seven of Tom Ford’s Private Blend fragrances and they are worth the price of admission.

Bold and Strong Unisex scent

There are people saying it’s “not for women” well maybe it’s not for YOU. I am a woman and I love how this smells. It’s gender neutral. Ébène Fumé makes a statement when you walk in the room: it’s strong, bold, and spicy for the fall/winter. I own TF Black Orchid which is more on the floral side compared to this one. As someone else said, it’s not for the faint of heart. It’s a bit heavy but as it dries down, the staying power lasts till the next day. I love it. Try a sample first before you buy.

Tom Has Done it Again

This was a blind buy for me, as I have been an avid collector of Tom Ford’s Private Blend collection for about 10 years now. After reading the description, I was very surprised by the powdery, musk, almost vanilla essence I smelled at first. As it dried down, the woody notes became more apparent, and the black pepper was very noticeable as well. I would never have predicted this to be the scent after reading the notes, but I was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful bottle, excellent longevity, and another truly unique addition to my collection. It reminds me quite a bit of Vert D’Encens.

Copal scent.

I personally love this scent. Embodies copal 100%, It reminds me of cleansing ceremony’s in Mexico. Love it, incense, spicy, warm. It fades off quicker than I would like.

one of my favorites

This was not a blind buy…I smelled it on someone else and ran to buy it. I am a women and I definitely feel this is a great scent for the holidays for both genders. I pick up smokiness, sweetness (vanilla maybe?) , spice (maybe cinnamon?). One of my Best Buy’s for the season. I also love it layered with a vanilla scented body cream like philosophy’s fresh cream warm cashmere.
