Lip Color Lipstick

Reviews mean a lot to me and I don't think I'm alone in saying that. I depend on them to help me make some of my decisions. I've read so many great reviews on this site regarding TF lippies, but so many of you forget to mention the COLOR of the lipstick you are reviewing. Please remember to include the color. The colors are all so beautiful. I think they are worth the money:)

First off I had a bad experience with my first Tom Ford purchase ever! My lipstick came melted but Nordstrom fixed that real quick for me, great customer service. When I received the lipstick I loved it. It reminds me of my YSL, it's so soft and creamy, the scent is nice as well and it applies nicely. I purchased the Indian Rose and I love it.

I'd been thinking long and hard about buying a Tom Ford lipstick. Why the wait? It probably had something to do with the price tag. Yeah, that is a show-stopper in and of itself. I am no stranger to designer cosmetics, shelling out for Guerlain, YSL, Burberry, and Chanel lip products, but part of me wondered if the Tom Ford lipsticks could possibly be _that_ much better than the others out there. Well, I can't say they are better, but I can say that I do no regret purchasing not one but two of these lipsticks: Blush Nude and Pink Dusk. They are buttery soft but do not seem to be as temperature sensitive as the Burberry and Armani lip colours. Tom Ford lipsticks apply smoothly and flawlessly, with opaque coverage and longevity. The fragrance is a subtle aromatic vanilla. Blush Nude is lighter than my natural lip colour, which is a light-medium cool pink. One layer is good enough. If Blush Nude were any more beige, my lips would blend in with my complexion. This is the perfect everyday pinkish-nude shade. It's muted enough to work with a stronger eye and has enough colour to still be pretty (best for fair to light-medium complexioned girls). Pink Dusk is a neutral everyday pink that is about a shade darker than my natural lip colour. This would work for both warm and cool toned complexions and probably be great for those with NC30+ colour. The finish is satiny, with enough reflection to add lustre. Pair it with gloss, if you like, but I like to wear mine alone. The staying power is good, pigmentation is strong, and the vanilla scent is divine. Splurge if you know you love quality cosmetics! The design is sturdy and regal.

I adore this lipstick! True Coral has the feeling of wearing a red lipstick, but brighter and more playful. I have very fair skin and it definitely brightens up my face. Even my teeth and the whites of my eyes look brighter! It seems to change color depending on your lighting; sometimes it looks more orange-based, sometimes it has a more coral-pink undertone. But I would say the name is spot-on: it really is a true coral! I wouldn't say it is long-lasting, but it is definitely more moisturizing than other lipsticks I have. It goes on with a bit of a sheen, as opposed to a matte finish. You may have to reapply every few hours (especially after eating), but is that a bad thing? To me, there's nothing more glamorous than pulling out that gorgeous tube for a touch up. Worth every penny!

Hello everyone! so recently i decided to treat myself because i had been very good, i had met all the goals i set for myself and so a splurge was justified! I have wanted to try out Tom Ford Lipsticks for a while now, and the color selection was so good, plus all the reviews were majorly positive so i decided to buy one! I ordered Cherry Lush which is a vibrant red color! Lets talk about the packaging first, it chic, classic and beautiful, and definitely looks expensive, i like putting it on because it looks so pretty in the hands, (where is that crying laughing emoji when you need it?) But being honest thats not the only reason why i like it, i mean packaging is great and i buy a lot of stuff just because it looks pretty, and I’m sure many of you out there do the same! Now if i had to rate this lipstick then i would give it a full 5 stars, because its incredibly comfortable on the lips, its a creamy kind of a texture and goes smoothly on, i love the fact it doesn’t settle in any dry patches, which i have a lot of! Also the color stays on for a while, i ate at a wedding and then i decided to retouch my lipstick for pictures, but i dint need to because this bad boy was ON! Also i can’t get over the color! it is absolutely gorgeous. it almost makes my lips look bigger, no jokes! I feel these kind of reds look good on a large skin tone pool hence a great starting off color from Tom Ford, plus its so vibrant that it catches attention, like i walked past the mirror and i was like “oh! hey there” So if you’re looking to splurge and get yourself a Tom Ford lippie, i would highly recommend you this color!

I am a connoisseur of lipstick. I own probably 75+ ranging from designer to drugstore brands. At a high-end department store (not Nordstrom) a year or so ago, I opened several TF lipsticks to try, and they all had that too-old/gone bad/awful waxy scent/flavor of stale lipsticks. When I commented on this to the sales rep, he was offended at my observation, and I chalked it up to old counter samples. Fast forward to a trip to Nordstrom a few months ago, and I found a gorgeous shade of TF coffee-colored lipstick, which I bought without reservation. Today I opened it to wear about three months after purchase, and wouldn't you know??? Same horrible waxy flavor! So my $50 + tax lipstick went in the trash. Such a waste... I have a 10-year old Kiss Kiss Guerlain that still is as fresh as the day I bought it. Save your money and buy Dior or Givenchy or Guerlain for 2/3 of the price.
