BLACK MAGIC
OMMMGGG is all I can say! This is the Mother and Father of the smoke family of the Tom Ford collection. The opening will catapult you into another universe and land you in a foreign land that intrigues your mind, body and soul! First let’s start with the esthetics, the bottle is absolutely sexy in person with the black lacquer finish as the branded name. The fragrance is most definitely full body worthy. Lastly this is not for the faint at heart! This is not for the shy girlies that are afraid to try something new and different. I don’t want to smell girly and flowery all the time, I want to smell like a full grown sexy woman. Black Laquer delivers that and more, IMO! The dry down is where the magic unfolds and does not disappoint. It opens with a big bang but give it time to dry down and mix with your chemistry into a beautiful smoky warm fragrance that will plesantly surprise you. That’s when the Black Magic happens. Tom Ford has done it again with another masterpiece! 🖤

Smelly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had something smell so bad for such a long time. This was actually gross smelling and it would not come off. To think I smelled like this for hours. Ew

Not impressive
If any of you are familiar with the Tom Ford masterpiece Tobacco Oud, this is reminiscent of it. This is very much a sort of muddled, watered down version of tobacco oud. I could see someone that likes smoky, edgy, gothic scents appreciating this. However, for the majority of people who are shopping private blend, this is not it. It is too generic and not strong enough to be this expensive.

Smells so good
Tom Ford is expensive for sure. But, if you find your perfect scent it's worth every penny. Long lasting, and strong enough to linger without being obnoxiously overbearing.

Love, Hate

Woody and masculine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottom looks luxurious and sleek with the monochrome design. It smells very woody and smoky. I think it’s better suited for winter or night event. My husband loves it for the longevity.
