It is a base that goes under foundation
This is described as a highlighter but this is just a base that needs to be used under foundation, it's not something you can put on top of foundation to highlight.

Not for mature skin
The product settles into my fine lines. I have tried using it underneath my Tom Ford foundation and on top with the same results. Not recommended for mature skin.
