Simone Eau de Parfum

I have a couple "deeper" scents that I do love but wanted something bright and fresh yet still sophisticated. I tested this newest Tocca fragrance and fell in love. It's just a wonderful blend that I can't imagine anyone not enjoying, and that's saying a lot when it comes to perfume. Sometimes the idea of a "fresh" or "clean" scent sounds good on paper but just doesn't translate well. Simone hits all the right "notes" without any one of them dominating too much. And although I've read reviews that some Tocca scents don't have the best longevity, this little gem certainly does. A fresh, not overpowering scent that also lasts? How rare is that? I sniffed and liked some of Tocca's other scents, but this one was just exactly what I was looking for.

For years I have been hearing rumors of my favorite fragrance D&G 3 L'Imperatice is going to be discontinued and have been searching for a replacement. I think I have found it with Simone both have that first fruity note of refreshing watermelon and ends with a nice soft sensual floral. So if you are into fruity florals like me I highly recommend.

I got a sample of this in a beauty order off nordstrom.com. I opened it immediately, even before my purchased products, and sprayed it. I don't think that I've instantly loved a fragrance before this one. I usually mull over fragrance purchases, since they are typically the more expensive beauty items per mL/oz. Immediately I went back to nordstrom.com and purchased it; I also searched for other ancillary products, but since the scent is so new, I wasn't able to find anything else but the fragrance. With my purchase, I was given a GWP in a different scent, Cleopatra; it has base notes of fresh melon, so it is a nice option if you want to layer that collection's body lotion with Simone's fragrance. Overall, I'd say wearing it takes me away to an island vacation...which is heavenly since I'm in land-locked Illinois. I will say, bees love it, so wear outside at your own discretion!
