Not for me - perfect for a someone else!
I got THE LAST PAIR of size 8 in these. I felt like I had won some weird lottery. Literally counted the days ‘til they arrived. Imagine my utter disappointment to discover they were totally wrong for me. 1. They were too long and my foot slipped forward and back; 2. Much too hot to wear at the farm on pavement in the summer; the description claimed breathable waterproof leather - but that was not my experience and I’ve had DuBarry waterproof leather boots that truly functioned and felt like leather; 3. Sadly did not find the fabulous support I was expecting after testing them up and down carpeted stairs and walking around the house.
I need and expect a lot from my footwear. My old bones need lots of support because I am a riding instructor and work with horses. On top of that quirky profession…I don’t like manmade material
…or I should write….my feet prefer leather and
a cushioned, supportive footbed. The short boots I originally ordered (:() (Bos.&Co.) was canceled. The Portugese and that company in particular make boots and footwear that my feet
love.
Trial and error….and time…thank you for asking, Nordstrom, and for making it possible to both shop for different brands and for taking ones that don’t work back.
