Not actually waterproof

I really like the way these shoes look and feel but I was very disappointed when I decided to try them out. I just went for a walk in the rain and my feet and socks ended up getting wet. I bought them mainly for the waterproof description but they don't even keep out the water. It wasn't even pouring rain so I really don't understand why water still seeped through.

Wanted to love, but

These shoes were well made, supportive, cushioned, but as some reviews mentioned, the heel box was big for me as well. I probably could have gotten heel cushion pad/guard but I hate to do that with this price of a shoe, so I returned. I wanted to love but they just did not fit me right. I wear a regular 8.

A good option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good option, solid, durable unfortunately in my case, I need a sole more cushioned.

Survived the wind and rain of the Aran Islands

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These kept my feet dry and supported in extremely stormy weather! Good grip. I should've gotten my regular size but got a half size up to support bulky socks. These are tall, I'd prefer less height in the sole. Great hiking shoe!
