Runs a bit wide in toe and around ankle
The shoe has a leather bottom so it seems a bit slippery, surprising given the style of the sandal. The length runs true to size but I found it a bit wide through the ankle.

Stiff leather — ow!
Yikes! I love LC and have several pairs of boots that see me snugly through all kinds of winter weather. So, maybe sandals are just not their forte, but these were very painful to walk in just in the few minutes I had them on. The leather is stiff, the buckles are difficult, the sole is as unforgiving as a wooden plank, and the straps rubbed both feet in ways I knew would be blisters in no time. Two stars because they do seem to be well made. Returned an hour after they were delivered.

Great summer sandal
I did find these true to size and well made. I wear them with short socks and have no problems with chafing. I would probably buy another pair if they were available in other colors. I find that putting on any pair of shoes with buckle closures takes a bit more time than wearing slip on shoes- I did need to use the final hole to put them on.
