Great for travelling up to two weeks
I bought this bag for a two week trip to Italy. I loved it and found it to be the perfect size for all my items…including a CPAP machine. When we returned home from our trip, my wife went and bought one for our next trip.

Add Water Bottle Holder
Thule, this is a great convertible backpack! However, it's missing a water bottle holder. I have heard this feedback from so many acquaintances. Please add this feature.

Well made and sturdy
I bought this following a trip to Europe with a wheeled carryon, as I was frustrated with how much more mobile my travel companion was carrying just a backpack.
This is ideal for a single person for a week or so, or a couple for a weekend.
Very roomy. Used it for a subsequent trip and was able to fit all my stuff for a week at the beach, plus some of our kids stuff. As a carryon, I just used the included laptop bag and it was big enough for a laptop, tablet, kindle, and Nintendo switch, plus a large book, plus some snacks.
I echo previous comments - a bit awkward accessing the main pouch with the backpack straps attached, but not an issue for the type of travelling I usually do. Also note that there isn’t a water bottle attachment, but a carabiner holds my Nalgene on no problem.
Overall very happy with the purchase. We already have a Thule Subterra suitcase (the large one that zips apart to become two bags) and this suitcase is just as functional.

Best traveling backpack I've ver had
The slick and simple, yet full of pockets, design allows this backpack to even fit under the seat when overhead compartments are full. The smart design of the computer+documents bag pocket allows you to easily access it when going through security and before you get into your seat. Another feature I really appreciate is the opening of the backpack as you would open a regular suitcase allowing access to all of your items. Overall a great backpack with high quality materials and construction. I tend to pack a lot of things and this backpack is able to last under that pressure

Great but the shell could be harder.
Great bag but the shell could be harder. I really prefer the carry-on 4 wheels with compression plate. It was smaller a little bit but hold stuff much better according to the harder shell and compression plate. A little bit disappointed.

My go-to travel bag
I don't have any cons of the bag so far. I have been using this bag for 2 years or so. i have flown, gone backpacking and road trips with this bag. it holds SO much! it is definitely capable of taking you on any short adventure. I have been able to pack 4-6 days in this bag several times. The outside is durable and these zippers will take a beating.
