I really like the idea of powder foaming up when you add water. There these micro pieces of rice (I believe) which when washing your face, provide some exfoliation and an almost massage, stimulating feeling on the outer dermal layer. This cleanser rinses fully and leaves no stripped, or dry, or tight feeling.
The Enzyme Exfoliator is nice. It's creamy and feels like a milky cleanser on the skin. Only keep it on the skin for about a minute or so--I kept itpn a bit too long and my face skin felt a bit inflamed--warm to the touch and rosy pink in color. It also rinses clean and using it 2-3 times a week, my skin is brighter, softer and smoother. I had hoped it would fade the dark spots on my face better.
The moisturizer is really interesting. The texture is fluffy and light. At first, I didn't think it would be emollient enough for my dry skin. But don't be fooled. Because it's lighter and thinner doesn't mean you will need more; you won't. My skin drank it in fast, but stayed hydrated throughout the day. Sometimes my skin had a burning sensation, after rising off the Enzyme Exfoliator--I wasn't alarmed, I figured I had the exfoliator on a little too long. Overall, I liked this system. I'd probably keep buying the refills, which is another plus: eco-friendly.
