This Is a Shimmering Hair Mist

I love all Davine products so thought I'd give this shimmering mist a try. It absolutely does what it says in that it is not a heavy hold hairspray but instead a soft mist which adds a nice sheen to frizzy hair. But, oh my, the VANILLA scent is way too much for me. I don't dislike vanilla at all but I prefer not walking around smelling like a fresh baked vanilla sugar cookie, or worse, a Keebler Nilla wafer. Even my husband, who comments on NOTHING beauty, asked if I had just baked vanilla biscuits. I even reached out to Davines to see if they would consider manufacturing a scentless version of this otherwise wonderful product but 'not at this time'. (Their customer service is as good as their products, by the way). Sadly, back this goes. Thank goodness for wonderful Nordstrom's return policy.
