Tolleree Short Sleeve Cashmere Sweater

This is a great top. I got the gray one last year and the ivory this year. Perfect on its own or under another sweater, this is high quality cashmere. I haven’t had any pilling and I am tough on my sweaters as I commute on public transit and wear a backpack for a mile walk each way. I could have gone either small or medium— I didn’t notice a huge difference. In the end I went with the small. (I usually wear a size 6)

I wanted to love this sweater! I purchased the Periwinkle on sale and love the color - it is exactly as shown on my iPad. The issue was shape - I’m tall/thin and it hung exactly as it appears, but somehow, even though I wear many “oversized” sweaters, this was simply not flattering. For those with more generous shapes, it could look wonderful. The quality was good - standard Theory cashmere which I find to be just a notch beneath most Vince in softness, but no complaints and it was not see-through at all, a lovely single-ply weight. I’m sending it back.
