Faux Leather Sleeveless Shift Dress

I really, really wanted to love this. It was going to be my new it piece for fall. Unfortunately it just didn’t drape well. It bunched up around my waist and I knew I would be constantly tugging on it if I kept it. I have a very small waist, so maybe someone who is a bit more straight waisted will fit this better

This was the first item I added to my wishlist during the sale preview and I was so disappointed when I got it. I am an 8 in pretty much everything I own and the 8 was so small. For reference I am 5'7", 150lbs, hourglass shape, 32DDD. This dress was so tight on my hips and chest, I probably would have to size up at least to a 10. I would have done that, but in general I wasn't wow'd by it enough to go through the hassle of ordering another size. The faux leather is buttery smooth and great quality, but the color felt it washed me out.

Way too close to my skin tone and cut was small on hips and huge on chest. Made for woman without curves.

I wanted to love this dress, but it just fit strangely in the arms/chest. I tried my regular sizes (10 and 12) and it gapped at the arms. I don’t even think that tailoring it would work- it seems like a design flaw. Too bad- it was soft and a beautiful color.
