'Betty - Tailor' Dress

I love my Theory, however, this brand drives me crazy with variation in sizing. I am a size 2, but when it comes to Theory I have to try the 2 and the 4 or the ps or the xs or the s because you NEVER know exactly how it will fit. With this dress, the size 2 fit in the hips, Smashed in my 32c chest and was a little snug under the arms, SO I try the 4 and its a better fit in the chest, a little roomie in the hips too big in the waist and it Gaps at the neck. I just can't win with these dresses. Their tops Im usually safe with a xs or 2 never anything bigger and their skirts for me are a 2, but I did have to go to a 0 ( I have never been a 0 in my life) because I was swimming in the sz 2 stockholm skirt. You just never know what your going to get with sizing but I love the quality and the look of Theory, I just know its going to be a size thing :(

It is great dress and I can wear it to work and for going out side ,it is make me look young and skinny even if i am not :) there is something about Nordstrom clothes they know what kind of cloths present if online or stores and I always dependent on nrdstrom to make my style and many people tell me I know how to wear but the truth because of Nordstrom clothes and the great nice style

I was really excited to see that this dress was online, as I had read so many great reviews, and when it arrived it did not disappoint. I am 5'7, 138lbs and ordered a 6. The 6 fits perfectly. I am a 34 C and the chest fits very snug. I'd say if you have a larger chest it might be too snug and uncomfortable. This dress looks great with boots or heels. The quality of the material feels great. My only issue with it is that it wrinkles quite a bit after sitting in it, and also it's not lined. Other than that, it's great and I'd recommend it if anyone who needs a go-to power dress for the office!

I bought this dress to go with the suit I have - the Gabe B Tailor blazer in the same color and it is PERFECT. I'm thrilled. The fit is wonderful and the fabric is all season - it has the right amount of stretch and looks great when I pack in in my suitcase - no wrinkles.

This dress is beautifully made that can be used during the day for the office and then dressed up for the evening by adding accessories. The dress does run small. I purchased this as a gift and usually, my daughter would fit a 0 or 2, and in this dress, she fits a size 4.

Snagged this while it was on sale earlier this month and so glad I did! I'm 5'4"/115-120lb, usually a size 0 or 2 in dresses. They didn't have size 0 for this dress, but I got size 2 and it fit great. The cut is very flattering and the fabric is high-quality and smooth. It has been harder than you'd think to find a simple, clean-cut sheath dress without trendy embellishments, and with a high neck for statement necklaces/pendants, but this is perfect. They were out of black but I actually love the indigo color, it's rich and dark, and unique while still being work-appropriate. It will go great with nude pumps or a pop of color like coral. This is a great classic essential wardrobe basic!
