What it is: A limited-edition collection of hydrating formulations, in a complementary pouch, to support dry skin from harsh winter weather.
Set includes:
- Glycolipid Cream Cleanser (1.7 oz.): a gentle, non-stripping cleanser that removes makeup and impurities while respecting the skin barrier to maintain hydration
- Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner (3.4 oz.): a gentle exfoliating toner that gently exfoliates to encourage brighter, more radiant skin. It gives all-day hydration and smoothes skin texture
- Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 (1 oz.): a lightweight hyaluronic acid serum that brings together five forms of hyaluronic acid to provide instant plumping hydration while smoothing texture. The additional supporting ingredients of ceramides and pro-vitamin B5 help to restore the moisture barrier to keep hydration locked in
- Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA (1 oz.): a daily moisturizer, suitable for all skin types, that strengthens the skin's barrier while providing immediate and all-day hydration
How to use: Cleanse morning and evening with Glycolipid Cream Cleanser, and follow with Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner. After cleansing and toning, apply a few drops of Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, and finish your regimen with a small amount of Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA.

you get what you pay for
I was hoping that this would work. But as the saying goes… if it is too good to be true, it usually is.
Product does not absorb but just sits on top of skin. Did absolutely nothing for my 38 yr old dehydrated skin.
Product does, unfortunately, live up to its name. Just subpar and ordinary.

still my favorite!
I’ve been using the ordinary hyularonic acid for years now and it’s still an every day essential. I don’t feel as though it’s as effective with hydration as it was for me a few years ago which could be the state of my skin or maybe a change in the product? I still prefer it over other brands at a a similar price point like Neutrogena. I usually put this on after a shower and follow up later with the Cerave hyularonic acid which is more of a lotion consistency. Can’t beat the price on the ordinary!

Leaves skin hydrated
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] gifted by theordinary I picked up The Winter Skin Set because my skin always gets dry, tight, and dull once the cold weather hits, and I wanted something simple that actually supports my skin barrier instead of just “moisturizing for an hour.” After using the set as a full routine, I can honestly say it feels like a complete, no-stress winter reset—hydration, smoother texture, and that healthier glow that usually disappears in winter.

Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner causes severe skin irritation.
The cleanser is lovely - best cream cleanser I have ever used. Will buy again.
Moisturizer is fine, though I think it would have made more sense to include the thicker Natural Moisturizing Factors + PhytoCeramides in a "Winter" skin set. Good for every day though.
HA Serum seems somewhat useless, it doesn't feel like it does much more than a good moisturiser alone. I will keep using it but don't think I'd replace it when used up.
Pouch is a really practical size and shape but the quality feels low.
Overall a disappointing purchase given the two more expensive products in the set were disappointing for me, but useful enough I will keep it given I got it during the sale. If I had paid full price I would return.
