great selvedge jeans!
This is a great buy for a clean, dark ,well fitting jean. The fit is more a slim straight. I ordered my true size of 34 and the fit and quality is excellent. I look forward to breaking these in and having them mold to my body. Get this jean!!

UB301 review from a Wrangler wearer
Before I offer a review, it is good to disclose I have worn Wrangler jeans for a decade, specifically 20x and boot cut. With that said, I first ordered the slim version of these. Way too small even by the suggested fitting size due to very tight hips, quad region and crotch area. I returned them and ordered the straight leg version. Much looser in the quad area and the waist fit more to suggested size fitting, which was accurate. Yes, they are tight right now but selvedge need time to loosen up a bit and conform to the person wearing them. My only complaint is the crotch area, which is a bit snug and the back pockets, which I personally think "sag" a bit lower than most regular jeans. The issue with both of these problems is wear over time will likely not remedy the tightness in the crotch or the sag in the back pockets. Other than that, I would say they are a great bargain since the price is much lower than many other brands of selvedge jeans.. Also, there is little doubt these will last much longer than my traditional choice of Wrangler jeans as the thread count is double.

Great raws
My first pair of raw denim jeans. I only put a 4 star because I didn't enjoy breaking the starch as it was an uncomfortable experience, but that comes with all raw denim I guess. I'm just used to washed jeans. Very clean and good for business casual occasions.

Sold pair of jeans.
1st pair of raw selvedge jeans. It was pretty stiff and really tight but after the 3rd day of wearing it started breaking in. Jeans have a great, dark Indigo color, which I love. I'm in the minority of raw users who doesn't want the fading or fading lines. Faded jeans is not a good look, so they will be washed after a week or two. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the leg opening is ridiculously large. I could fit another ankle in there. It fits great everywhere else. Hugs my body well, nice straight cut and then the leg balloons, which really disrupts its aesthetic. Here's hoping it shrinks when it's washed.

Very nice, but ultimately not for us
I bought these for my fiance for Christmas - they are beautiful in person, however, the fit was not entirely to his liking (I would size up if you order these). Additionally, the top button popped off after one wear! No bother though, we were able to exchange in store for a pair he loved - that's the magic of Nordstrom LOL
