The Small Traveller Toiletry Kit

I have purchased soooo many cosmetic bags/cases trying to find the one that works for me. I stopped buying the bags because I like to see everything at once, and didn’t like to dig into the bags to find things. I tried the square shaped ones that unfold to two triangles, but that felt like a lot of wasted space. My last case was a Truffle double sided case because I liked I could see all at once. I used one side for creams and prep and the other side for cosmetics, but I didn’t like there wasn’t a place for my brushes on the cosmetics side. I saw this concept of the fold down bag and wanted to try it. I considered the Haven bag and this one but went with Parallelle because it looked more structured. It did not disappoint. I usually scatter everything on counter but, with this bag, everything stayed in place. I just opened it up and everything was there, on display. Most of my brushes are standing up (the longer ones are sideways on the folded down flap), easy to find, grab, use, and place back. It has a removable divider to split bag into two sides. I used one side for Creams and prep, and the other side for cosmetics. There are several side pockets, stretchy and non stretchy, that came in very handy. I purchased the small and medium. The small bag for basics to pack in my carry on, and the medium to pack more options for longer trips and checked in luggage. So, I always carry the small w me as my main bag (in case luggage gets lost, overnight layovers, etc), and the medium one as optional for longer trips. I just open them up, use, zip back up. I moved hotels so much on my last trip and I’ve never had such easy repacking. p.s. The parallelle website has a beautiful new dark blue color, I hope Nordstrom ends up offering That color as well.

This make-up bag makes it easy to find products you’re looking for quickly. Things do not get lost because of the multiple pockets meant for different items. I bought the small in vicuña and it fits all my everyday makeup — with extra space to add new things. The zipper goes all the way down on each side which allows you to completely open the bag to see everything without having to pull it out. It’s pricey but it feels like it will last long and is made really well. So far I am very happy with this product. 10/10 recommend.
