Runs small but so good!
I have several pairs of mother jeans and have learned sizing on fit, color and denim content. I normally wear a size 29 if the jeans are a mix but with these being 100% cotton I sized up to a 31 and they are perfection. Length is great too. If Mother jeans are all cotton you need to size up.

Labeled the wrong name
The shorts are actually The Skipper Short N Long Fray, not The Tomcat Loose High Waist. A completely different fit.

Unfairly Low-Rated
I read the reviews before I purchased these and once I got them I realized that the bad reviews might have been a fluke. I find these true to size but I understand if you are used to stretch you may want to size up. I’m already in love even though I typically steer clear of denim shorts because I don’t like the thigh pinch. These are roomy in the leg opening and I’m thrilled with them. Nice color too, and who can go wrong with a button fly! Lots of great features here. Give these a shot.

not like regular Tomcat
The Tomcat full length denim is so flattering and hugs the right places. These shorts fit nothing like them. The waist was ok but the crotch area was bulging and the kegs looked wide on me. Definitely returning

love short short not too short
Fabric is a nice weight, feels a little thicker. Fits thru the hip and seat. Doesn’t flare out too much around the legs. I think I will love these. A keeper.
Only downside is the button fly. I’d prefer a zipper. And raw edge hem, I’d prefer a finished hems so they don’t unravel with strings hanging. Love anyhow.. and Will definitely look for more of this fit by mother.

Runs small!
Cute shorts but had to size up 2 sizes! I’m normally a 26 in Mother, and I had to size up to a 28. No stretch!
