The Ruby Water Repellent 600 Fill Power Down Parka

I do not understand how/why North Face is ever recommended, when anything I've gotten from them has had quality issues. The jacket I received was literally brand new, wrapped in plastic with tissue and those silicone packets directly from North Face (so this was not an issue of receiving a return, or used item, etc). And yet, it already had a hole from where the cuff on the sleeve appears to have been poorly constructed. Returned, because if this is how it starts, I don't want to see how quickly or easily it comes apart completely. As much as I want to give 0 stars for quality, I do have to note the positives as well; it was less pouffy and more figure flattering than other puffers and it had my favorite kind of inside zip pocket (up near the chest) for my phone. This has the potential to be a good winter coat, if North Face could ever put out a well constructed garment.
