The Plié Top Handle Bag

I have the large Victoria tote and love it and thought this might be a nice companion piece. From the photos, I thought it was a boxier shape and a supple leather- not exactly slouchy, but not rigid. It is stiffer than I expected and the shape is more tapered to the top. I thought this might just be the handles bending inward, but the bag is actually cut into a gentle trapezoid shape. Even though the zippers go quite far down the sides, the narrower top does not open generously, leaving a smallish opening you have to fight with the handles to see in. I prefer better visibility into a bag and, while I like the idea of the handles on the ends, I could tell they would always be in the way of accessing the bag. They don't provide dimensions, which seems like a big oversight. The bag is 7.5" x 11.75" x 5.5". The shoulder strap is quite short and probably not a crossbody option for anyone but the most petite. On a separate note, Nordstrom canceled my order and explained (after I contacted them to complain) that the bag was found to be in a condition that could not be shipped. Ok, I appreciate that but stock remains available for sale on the site. ??
