What it is: A 100% mineral sunscreen that meets skin-care perfection.

What it does: This 100% mineral sunscreen, with zero white cast, shields skin from harmful UVA/UVB rays that can cause premature aging and sun damage like dark spots and hyperpigmentation. With snow mushroom, an antioxidant and superhydrator, this formula moisturizes skin instantly and throughout the day. Formulated with niacinamide and ceramides known to support barrier function for more resilient skin. This lightweight, fragrance-free lotion absorbs easily and is safe for sensitive skin.

How to use: Apply sunscreen liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure as the last step in your skin-care routine. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Children under 6 months of age: Consult a physician. Use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating excessively. Reapply at least every 2 hours.

The best of the best!

I haven’t used a single product in the full line of the outset that I haven’t loved! The Hydrasheer is no exception; it’s so lightweight, doesn’t feel sticky or drying and it leaves no matte white cast! It keeps that ‘outset effect’ glow that the 3 step gives you! It is officially a staple item in my bag forever

Expires soon - beware but love product!

I was excited to try at half price (I love The Outset products). I was disheartened to receive the product to find it expired in 3 months. Wouldn’t get enough use in New England. But, love the product, just sad it has a significantly short expiration date. I wanted to enjoy this summer.

container piston broke after 2 weeks

The product was great. Unfortunately, the piston that pushes the product out of the container broke after 2 weeks of usage. It was quite difficult to dig the remaining product of the bottle and consequently most of it went to waste.

Best SPF EVER!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with very acne prone skin, I’m always very hesitant to try new products. I took a chance on The Outset because I loved the simplicity of the routine and clean ingredients; I’m SO glad I did and won’t ever be looking back! My skin is calm, nourished, and feels so good! Enter Hydrasheer—most sunscreens left my skin feeling greasy and congested, but the Hydrasheer provides the (clean ingredient) protection without being too heavy or comedogenic and I will never use another SPF again. I have tried almost every single The Outset product and have loved them all!
