This designer used to offer specific styles in wide, which is no longer the case and is disappointing as their main rock last does not work for my foot width at all. Unless it’s a tennis shoe. Also, the majority of the leather they use in their shoes are insanely stiff. Beautiful designs, beautiful craftsmanship, but just absolutely unwearable for me. I’m a size 6 1/2 and usually order sevens for the extra width but even the seven and this was too narrow. I do not have technically wide feet.

Very stiff leather and unusual fit
The leather on this boot is extremely stiff and not forgiving at all. I found the fit to be quite odd. I had noticeable extra room in the toe box, yet my heel sat right at the edge and slightly overhung, which made zipping the boot difficult. I suspect this may be related to having a higher arch, but the rigidity of the leather amplified the issue rather than easing with wear. Unfortunately, the combination of very tough leather and an imbalanced fit made these uncomfortable and impractical for me.
