I ordered this for my 12 year old son, he usualy wear Large but this jacket is more fitted and glad I bought a size larger. Is light weight but so warm. Thanks Nordstrom for the quick shipment.

Fit not as described nor as expected..
Extremely disappointed with the very small fit in shoulder width and how huge it is in the bodice as well as is everywhere else. It's below his buttocks and to his upper thighs in length. Even after measuring exactly as per size chart shows, and asked plus confirmed size with customer service representative, as she also stated the size purchased per their sizing chart. Even buying a size larger, which was only enough room for him to have a two year wear out of this jacket, since I bought it so close to the end of the cool season. There was not a big difference between exact size and size bought, had I purchased his exact size according to measurements and charting it would have been way too small for him right now..

I bought the small for my 8 year old son, when it arrived I knew I needed the medium. I returned the small and immediately ordered the medium. They actually had it in stock. When I bought the small, they didn't have any more mediums. I thought maybe the small ran large. He's a big 8-year old, almost as tall as his momma, well, that's not saying much bc I'm only 5'2! I tried it on when it arrived and it actually fit me! I said "Nice! Once he outgrows it, I'll keep it for me!"
