Classy and sporty coat for my active 8 year old
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are an active family of four plus an active dog. We love to hike, bike, walk around the neighborhood and play in the snow. Natures elements do not keep us inside. Additionally, the children swim year round and often get out the pool cold. This jacket is a perfect layer because it is waterproof and keeps my son warm. We looked into swim parkas, but once they are wet, they keep the moisture in. This coat is light weight, yet keeps your body warm without being too hot and keeps the outside elements out. Additionally, we travel often and this coat folds really nicely for small spaces. It is easily washable and is comfortable to add layers underneath without being too tight.
