Metallic Copper is Beautiful!!
What a great looking down vest! It is true to size , a cropped, boxy profile (hits at my waist) and the stand up collar unzips to reveal a hood if you need it. If you want a close to the body tighter fit then size down but for me this vest looks bestie my regular size ( M) with room for a sweater. I got the copper metallic.....wow, very cool!! I almost bought the down jacket in the metallic but the vest is just enough "glitz" and will really stand out with a black sweater underneath!

So disappointed
I had been wanting the black and white 1996 Retro Nuptse Vest for months, only to get it and be totally disappointed by it. The white fabric is too thin allowing the black parts of the feathers to be visible, making it look like a bunch of stains throughout the vest. Sadly I had to return it.

Great winter vest
Love it! I sized down, am usually a medium but went with a small and it fits perfect! Can wear it over sweaters or sweatshirts. Super comfy and just the right amount puffy. Great winter accessory.

A most wonderful purchase, warm, "big" and yet packable. I usually order a large in vests, because the sleeve holes, but the medium was plenty large. Just the right length and very warm. A stand-alone "coat" on a mildly cold day.

Can be unisex!
I got this for my husband in an XL after realizing they were sold out of his size in Men's. He typically wears a size L in Men's, and the Women's XL fit him perfectly!
Originally, he was concerned about it being too short; however, the sales rep at the North face store assured us that the Nuptse 1996 style is purposefully shorter, giving it that "retro" look. He has received tons of compliments!
