Love this jacket!
I'm 6' tall 190 pounds and bought an XXL. FIt was perfect! I don't like things to be too snug and tight plus there's room to layer underneath. The length was true to the marketing photo; hit me right at my knees and the sleeves were long enough. (Sometimes us tall women have trouble with sleeve length). It kept me warm and dry for my November trip to Seattle. I also rolled it up and used it as a pillow on the airplane. :)

Returned coat
Not a good fit. The chest area is really tight but the bottom was too wide so there was no way to size up. Very disappointed.

Details matter most
This jacket color is beautiful, I got the pink and it is beautuful. That is what got me first. The color is not a bright pink not a baby pink but a calm soft pink. However the fit is small i got a medium which says it fits an 8-10 when really its more like a 4-6. I am 5’4 and 150 pounds. The back was too tight and the arms were very tight the jacket still zipped up all the way but i felt very stiff. And it is not thick enough for new york city in december more like a new york city fall light jacket. Hope this helps. Order a size up for sure.!

Tight across shoulders/chest
I think my current winter coat is the North Face Metropolis? and I've had it for years. At least 10 years I think. I'm 5'11" and 160lbs. I have long arms and broad shoulders. I generally size up to a large winter coat so I can layer. I wear a medium in North Face fleece/lighter layers. I ordered this in a large. It feels warm and has a good weight to it. I think it'd be a great option for Chicago winters.
The sleeve length is great on my long arms. My issue with it is that it was tight across my shoulders and chest. On me, it looks perfectly fine/normal. But if I pull my shoulders back, it gets tight across the chest. I also can't raise my hands higher than parallel to the floor. I have this issue with sleeve mobility in blouses, blazers, and pea coats because of my shoulders. I've never had this issue with a winter coat though. My old Metropolis fit well and I have full mobility in it. Same with the North Face puffer coat I owned before that even. Most people probably won't have this issue. But I thought it was worth reviewing to share that the fit is not the same as other North Face coats historically. I will be returning because being in Chicago, I will be wearing this possibly 6 months out of the year, want to wear it for years, and need to be comfortable while wearing.t

Comfy, cute and snug
I really love this coat! It’s a beautiful color and the length is perfect. It keeps me warm in temps below freezing and it isn’t too bulky.
Only con is that it’s somewhat tight in the chest area. If I’m wearing any layers, I can’t zip the coat closed.
I’m 5’10 and 195lbs.

Beautiful new colors!
This is the warmest coat ever. I wore it all through the Chicago winter last year when it was -20 degrees. I am so happy to see these new, vibrant colors! The green and cranberry options are so pretty. I ended up keeping the cranberry color, because I like it best with my skin tone. I also sized up one size to give myself room to wear sweaters underneath.
