Loralei
Since, I purchased my Loralei jacket, I fell in love with it! It's very light weight, it fist perfectly and comfy. The best thing about it, it keeps me warm. I can wear a shirt or light sweater and it kept me warm through a single digit temperature here in Alaska.

Great colors- but not enough to keep
Had high hopes for this one... Loved the merlot color and the length/ lighter feel. I do think Northface skimped no this one (I own 3 Northface jackets) not worth the price tag for the features you get (no two way zipper! no cuff or elastics at the sleeves?) I'd rather price up and get quality.

Graham Cracker
I love it!! I have 2 other North Face coats, one is the long, really warm one that I take to visit my son in NYC or my daughter in Oregon. The other is the lightweight Venture jacket for rain. This one is perfect for cold days in Houston! I can also pack it in my suitcase with ease. The color I got is Urban Navy which is more of a purple color...not what I was expecting but pretty. From the picture I was expecting more of a gray color.

Cute but not warm
Walked in 60 degree weather to test but felt no warmer than a sweatshirt. Purchased another coat instead.

Perfect for petites!
I am 5 ft tall & find it difficult to find a warm down jacket (with hood) that doesn't overwhelm me. This jacket (in medium) fits perfectly even when wearing a sweatshirt underneath. The sleeve length is not too long either--just long enough to cover the base of my thumbs. The only reasons for knocking off a star: the black jacket finish is a bit shiny like a garbage bag (wish it was matte), no inner wrist cuffs even at this price point, the NF logo is almost invisible (black on black) and the front pockets are too shallow to fit gloves. Overall though, this is a very utilitarian jacket for running errands around windy Chicago!

Not Warm Enough
I sent this jacket and one in black to my twins in college in Boston. After having read the reviews it sounded like the perfect "warm" winter jacket. Since it is Northface and cute I knew my daughters would wear it. They received them last week and said they liked them but were not for cold weather rather late Fall and early Spring. It was a lot of money for this jacket and if you want a warm winter one, don't buy it.
