A sleek, comfortable 28-liter pack cut from durable nylon canvas boasts plenty of pockets to help keep your kid organized. An exterior bungee cord makes it easy to lash on extra gear. An all-new suspension system that includes FlexVent articulated shoulder straps adds support while a padded mesh back panel is augmented with a comfortable spine channel.

Not happy with my backpack

I have a north face backpack that is junk the zipper is not working and there for I can’t use it, it is to fine of a zipper and can not get it to zip up not very old backpack,the zippers need to be bigger very disappointing in this flaw…

Not happy with my backpack

Poor Build my Quality got my documents all wet

I've had this backpack for less than a year, and it's already failed in a way that makes it hard to trust for daily use. Both sides of the water bottle holder developed holes, and the stitching completely came apart. I re-stitched them myself to get more life out of the bag, but the stitching loosened again shortly after. The real problem is the bottom of the water bottle holder — the hole there formed under completely normal daily use, not from any misuse or heavy load. When it rained, the hole allowed rainwater to seep in, soaking the inside of the bag and its contents. For a backpack marketed for everyday/outdoor use, this level of durability is disappointing. I expected the stitching and material to hold up far longer than a few months. I can't recommend this bag if you plan on actually using the water bottle holder regularly.

Nice, but lower quality than older versions

My old ~2016 Borealis backpack is finally starting to rip at the base after nearly 10 years of hard backpacking, airport, and daily school use. I ordered a new one as a replacement, and while the reviews of the newer backpacks lasting several years encourage me that this one will do the same, I can immediately tell that the quality is lower -- the metal and durable plastic zippers are replaced by plastic, and the bag feels overall thinner and less rugged. I'll follow up in 5 years and let you know how this bag turned out for me!

It’s wild

I bought this at least 6 years ago and still use it daily. Maybe I’ll buy another but cause these are definitely worth it.

Nice backpack for school and hiking

Nice backpack. Great build quality, and there are enough pockets for the student essentials going to college. I have switched from a Swissgear Digital backpack to a North Face Borealis. Let's see how long it goes!
