nice beanie!
I got these beanies for my son and didn’t realize they have a fleece lining inside so they can be winter hats too! Very soft material! Little small so good thing they are for a kiddo!

Ultra itchy for my bald head
I saw this on display next to the $95 Canada Goose beanie and thought, hey North Face is a brand I know, and my wife wouldn't let me buy the CG hat.
I shave my head and was drawn in by the partial lining. Unfortunately for me, this had drove me to UNCONTROLLABLE itch! I wore it about 3 times before donating it to charity. Man this made my scalp go crazy. As other reviewers noted, only the bottom part of the beanie is lined (cost cutting measure). That means the upper portion of the inside is not lined, and that's where whatever this is made of drove me insane. I assume it's wool.
Anyone with a bald or shaved head beware.

Great Quality
This is a great quality beanie. Only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that in the description it says that the beanie is lined in fleece, which is true, however it is only the lower 3 inches of the beanie, (like a headband wrap), and the entire beanie is not fleece lined. However, I am still happy with the beanie and will be keeping it.

Excellent beanie
I was excited to see this beanie go on sale at nordstrom, when I received my order I was not disappointed, it fits great, it has a soft lining inside that feels great when you wear it, size is perfect, although it's not black as what you would expect on the color description it still looks great, love nordstrom as well as north face you can never go wrong.

Great Fit and Quality but cant be washed
Very nice fit and quality beanie the only problem is that it cannot be washed or dry cleaned as specified by label. I bought this for my husband and he wears it a lot and when doing sports outside his head gets sweaty. Soon the beanie will start to smell. It would be great if i could wash it.
