Worth every penny!

Purchased this for my teenaged daughter who said she HAD to have it. It seemed so lightweight for the price and I didn't think it would hold up in during the winters that we experience up north. Well, I was wrong. This jacket is AMAZING and keeps her warm and keeps the wind away and looks great! And is so lightweight -- it just amazes me! This jacket has been squished into a bookbag, shoved into a locker, dragged across a football field, stomped on during a bus trip and of course washed often -- and it still looks brand new. I am impressed and that doesn't happen often with me! Am buying her a second jacket for college and decided to buy myself one as well. She is about 5'6" and she wears a small in this particular jacket. Her other North Face jackets are a medium but this one seemed to run a little bit large.

Cheap Material & Poorly Sewed

Received jacket, and thread on zipper was already coming out so had to return it. Overall, material is definitely cheaper, and poorly sewed than previous version. Overpriced for jacket.

Lower quality than in previous years

I opened a black Denali in a large for years. It held up after numerous washes! I loved how quickly it dried after a wash. However, after a few years, I decided to go down a size since I had lost weight. It seemed like the quality had gone down because the fleece started pilling during the first wear. Not sure if it is due to the recycled polyester. Also, the jacket had way too much fabric under the arms and in the nylon areas on the chest and back. However, the jacket seemed too short even for my relatively short torso. I had also tried on several size medium jackets - and I think that I finally found the right one. It's a shame that the quality and fit varies by jacket. The jackets are certainly expensive enough that the company should offer better quality assurance to its customers.

it fits

If you're a size 18 the XXL will fit perfectly. I have a VERY snug xl but recently discovered the xxl online. Took the chance and am very glad I did. It looks great and is flattering.

My North Face

I love the way this jacket looks and fits! I can't wait for the cold weather! I'm a plus size and need a fuller cut. This is very slimming and flattering! Yes plus size girls, you can wear a North Face.

Just the one

My best friend and I have been wanting these jackets since high school and as a college graduate with a full time job I thought it was about time to get us both one. It is very warm and cozy. I am sad it's 100 degrees outside right now. I am assuming it will be a daily jacket once fall hits. Looking forward to the best friend matching memories made in these jackets.

Great coat

This coat is great. This is my second NF Denali coat and I think the quality is similar to the previous one I owned. It is warm, comfortable and works great with light snow or light rain. Whenever I'm traveling to colder climate I always pack this in my luggage, worth the money.
