Insane on Petites
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping that sizing to a 00 would work for me! Sometimes sizing down is enough for it to work for my height. Unfortunately, this dress still overwhelms my frame. The bubble hem looks crazy on me, and the waist hits me too low. Definitely returning. I wish Madewell made more of the dresses in Petite sizing.

Beautiful Dress
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the green color of this dress. I wish it wasn't so tight in the chest. The smocking doesn't givemuch and really accentuates the bust. 115lbs, 5'3", 34B. I bought my usual size XS, but wish I would have sized up for extra breathing room. It was final sale when I bought it.

Tight around the armpits

Flattering, Lovely Color
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Melody dress style, and this one has become my favorite! The bubble-hem adds a different element than the other Melodies. I went with an XS on this one, which fits better than my other two in small (5'6", 128 lbs, 34-27-37). The waist gathered at my actual waistline, whereas with the other two in small, it hits below my natural waist. Agree with the other reviewer that this is more of a kelly green than how it appears in the photos. Especially on sale, this is a gem!
