Ordered these on a whim bc they were on sale and surprised at how much I love them! They’re a rigid denim which I like but once on fit tts for madewell (I’m usually 26, in some cuts I have 25 - went with 26 on these 25 would be too small). Perfect ankle length on me at 5’8” - a longer Jean for madewell. Love them! Very flattering and suck me in!

Disappointed in Madewell for selling these...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these a week or two ago on sale (final sale as luck would have it, of course). I love Madewell, the quality is always exceptional and i've never had an issue buying things from their sale section so imagine my shock when these jeans, with such an obvious and huge quality error front and center, were delivered to me. I've attached photos for more detail but I'm honestly so disappointed Madewell would deem these jeans up to standard and sell them as if there was nothing wrong with them

I was very disappointed with the fit and returned them immediately.. waist fit fine but the cut of the leg was wide.. not slim like the photo online showed :(

These were stiff as a board. Would not be comfortable to wear (let alone try on). Hard to tell about sizing as I could barely move in them, but they seemed to fit true to size. Returning.

Almost there
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, so these are good straight leg jeans, not GREAT straight leg jeans. I really like the fit and the denim, but I'm 5'5" and the length was so awkward; it hit like literally right at the top of my ankle and cut my leg and made me look short and stumpy. I actually ended up taking out the bottom hem and raw-dogging it, which actually looks intentional, the way the hem wash is. So, not a total loss, but I wouldn't have bought these if they weren't on sale.

Cute jeans
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These jeans are a great fit and very comfortable. They have a bit of a stretch but not like most jeans recently which is nice. The denim is a bit heavy and stiff but loosens up after wearing. That is why I gave them 4 stars.
