Who at Mother is claiming their jeans marked as Petite are in fact made for a Petite woman? The person must be clueless. Clearly the manufacturer just cut the original jeans shorter and slapped a “Petite” on the label, then called it a day. That is NOT HOW YOU MAKE A PETITE!!!. The length is not really a petite length for jeans . NO THESE ARE TOO LONG FOR THE AVG PETITE. It is my fault for not looking closely at the description. An inseam of 30” is NOT appropriate for the average petite woman. The inseam should be 28.5” to 29” at most for a longer jean for the average petite to wear with 3” heels. The only PRO I can say for this style of Mother, whoever designed the pockets and placement did a great job for Petites. Mother should fire the clueless incompetent person(s) who designed all their other styles of jeans that claim to be “Petite”.

I’ve been a longtime fan of your brand, and I was thrilled when I heard about the launch of the “Lil” petite line, as it promised to eliminate the need for professional alterations. After waiting for my size to be in stock, I was eager to try these jeans, but unfortunately, I’m really disappointed in the fit. Despite being marketed as a petite line, I found the jeans to be excessively long—much longer than expected for a petite fit. I’ve seen other customers expressing similar concerns in reviews, which leads me to believe this sizing issue may be a broader concern. It seems that the fit may not align with the needs of your shorter customer base. I truly hope Mother takes this feedback into consideration and revisits the design to offer a more accurate petite fit. Many of us are excited about the potential of your “Lil” line, and with a few adjustments, it could be the perfect option for petite women without the need for alterations.

I’m in between a petite and regular so these worked great for me. At just 5’4’ I do have longer legs so they work absolutely perfect. I can wear them with flats or a little heel. Couldn’t be happier. Great quality and a little stiffer than a typical Mother denim. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments, I also do have a more muscular body type with a body and thighs.
