The Lil' Hustler Roller Skimp High Waist Wide Leg Jeans

These run 1-2 sizes too small. If you have a tiny waist and are less curvy they might be more TTS but they run 1 size small in legs/rear and about 2 for me in the waist. Plus I had a sort of camel toe situation. I’ll size up and see if it works because they’re generally flattering and a good length on my 5’2” frame. But it may be true that lots of brands just don’t have all the petite measurements down - like I don’t need a less than 10’rise just bc I need a shorter leg etc. Food for thought. May be best to just order a regular and tailor it. Thought it would be worth sharing since Nordstrom said these are TTS. Also: the skimp is a slightly shorter length than the mother sneaks. Sneaks go to the heel of a shoe or around there. Skimps go to the top of a shoe and would be good with sneakers or other footwear - heel or no heel.

Big shout-out to a previous reviewer who said these jeans were 1-2 sizes too small. I took this advice to the bank and ordered two sizes up online and the fit was perfect. I probably could have sized down in the legs, but would not have been able to in the waist -- definitely a full two sizes too small for me, as well. I put on a little weight and carry it most noticeably in my middle and my true size at the moment is 31, but going up to a 33, these jeans were very long on me and I'm 5'4" with a 29-inch inseam. Interesting how the bigger you go in the waist, the longer the inseam gets. Anyway, I took them for alterations and they're perfect now! I think it's interesting that this style is listed as true to size...most definitely not the case for me.

The other reviewer mentioned the length difference in the Skimp and Sneak styles and it was the best piece of advice! I’m 5,3 and these Skimps are AMAZING! I’ve been looking for sneaker or flat length wide legs for so long and Mother is always my favorite but still sometimes too long. These are perfect though. Not as wide leg as some of the other styles like the Hustler Roller, but still a great wide leg. I will say, the waist is different than other styles and it’s a little tighter, but not enough to size up, in my opinion. These are an instant new fave and can’t recommend enough for us short girlies!

Thank you to the review who noted that the “Skimps” run a bit shorter than the “Skamps” style and that these run small so order up one to two sizes; she is absolutely correct. I ordered one size up and I couldn’t be happier. They have the perfect amount of stretch and as the day wears on they don’t stretch out and get baggy. The fabric is soft and the Heirloom color is a gorgeous dark blue. The flare on the wide leg is not too much, just right for me. These are still a bit long even with a heel but at 5’2” and short legs I expect to hem. Best of all, the cut of these jeans somehow makes my flat bum (70 lb. weight loss) look perkier. The fit through the upper thigh makes them look slimmer. I didn’t think I would like the “M” emblazoned on the pockets but I don’t mind it and for this kind of great fit I’d wear it anywhere.
