What it is: An FDA-cleared advanced LED red and near-infrared light mask with a flexible, soft silicone design to contour to any face shape.

What it does: This mask is an at-home version of the brand's in-salon Skin Health & Rejuvenation Treatment to strengthen, rejuvenate, brighten, lift and plump your skin. LED therapy delivers energy in the form of light into the body to energize and improve cell activity, kick-starting the rejuvenation process and treating all layers of the skin. It conditions and hydrates the outer cells and boosts the deeper cells. The red 633nm light helps stimulate collagen, encourage healing, calm redness and even skin tone, making it an excellent treatment for helping to slow the aging process and negative effects of sun or lifestyle factors. Near-infrared 830nm light is the most powerful of the wavelengths. It helps support the aging process, stimulates healing and regeneration, improves blood and lymph circulation and helps correct vulnerable, inflamed skin.

How to use: The Light Salon recommends a treatment program of 3–5 days a week for 4–6 weeks. Each session is 10 minutes. To charge, plug in the device to the USB and outlet. The three light indicators will flash, and the device takes around 4-5 hours to fully charge. To use, be sure it's unplugged. It features adjustable hook-and-loop straps. The shorter strap is designed to be placed on either side and used to secure the back, while the longer strap is designed for the top of the head. Store your mask flat at room temperature in a cool, dry place, avoiding sunlight and anywhere that gathers dust. Before each use, clean with a water-based wipe or damp, lint-free cloth. Stains can be removed by gently wiping with a 70% alcohol wipe.

Getting results after 2 weeks
It’s so easy and comfortable, I’ve been looking forward to using it every day. The key to red light therapy is compliance with using it frequently. After two weeks my skin is brighter and more even toned. I accidentally burned my skin with high potency Retin A and this helped it heal! I love this device. Like the bib, I use this device on other areas of my body, like my legs , so they look good too. I’m very happy with my results this works!

No Difference
I used this mask religiously for 5 weeks and there was no change! So disappointing. If anything my skin was worse. I never get breakouts on my nose and I think the weird nose piece design caused something weird. For something this expensive, it has to show results and it didn't.

Convenient but NOT the best
I was excited to try this product which is currently all the rage. It is... not bad, but definitely not the best LED light therapy product out there. I have used LED light therapy for several years and if you are on the fence about whether or not it is effective - it IS. Pro's - Silicone mask is easy to use (you can multi-task). Custom hydrogel masks are nice. Would be convenient for travel. Con's - NOT as effective as others, such as the light therapy lamp I have, which have red, yellow, amber AND real infrared lights ("near-infrared is NOT the same) and therefore pack more punch. The lamp is more powerful and does a better treatment in five minutes (can be repeated like the mask but for a total of 10 minutes, not twenty. The silicone mask which I liked the convenience of, soon started to irritate my skin by the contact of the silicone. Designed only for face; the one designed for decolletage or other areas is separate. Price is high. My verdict: If the only thing stopping you from doing light therapy is the convenience of needing it as a mask, then go for it. If you can find 5 minutes a day to sit with a lamp, then a lamp is a better option. Would be a convenient take-along on tips so you don't have to pause your light treatment.

Pros and cons
I waited 4 months before I submitted this review. I was attracted to the pliable aspect of this mask. I own the Dennis Gross formed mask and wanted to try this version. PROS- 10 minute timing, holds charge for many uses CONS- Velcro straps that get caught in your hair. Who let this feature slip through the design/testing process??? I have tried wearing a bandana, towel etc. to alleviate pulling my hair out but its just another unnecessary step to take. I find it does not really sit well on my face it needs constant adjustment and it squeezes my face if tightened. Causing more wrinkles? I though I would like the eye protection pieces but they apply too much pressure on this fragile area of skin. They left marks and indentations and pulled on my undereye skin, not great. Again, how did this slip pass design/testing ? Also I am not seeing the same results as I saw with the Dennis Gross mask. The DG mask showed immediate lasting plumping of my skin and easily, gently lied on my face with out any pressure or pulling. It also seems warm and the mask requires wiping. Which is a good habit to keep it clean. But the DG mask does not feel warm. I will continue to use it. My DG mask is at my home in Seattle :( I just find this mask uncomfortable and it pulls on my hair despite my attempts to avoid that. Worry that the pulling and pressure on my skin to get a comfortable fit actually may be worse long term for my skin then the lights benefits. Time will tell...

Best LED face Mask
This mask is changing my life. I have only had it for 2 weeks and began seeing results the next day. Love that It contours to the shape of my face and also that I don't have to do my old routine with hand held LED which took up so much time. My skin looked refreshed and glowing the next day. I have very sensitive skin and suffer from dermatitis on my cheeks. Nothing seemed to help. This has healed it after a few days of use. My pores even look a little smaller too. I also love the silicone protection on this that my hand held LED does not have and the 10 min timer. My skin feels thankful. Another reason I decided to get this was that I fell asleep a couple of times using my older version hand held LED which I purchased from Nordstrom 5 years ago. It did not have the timer that the newer models have. Needless to say, this product is a much better time saver, and falling asleep is not hazardous to my health. :) I also plan on getting the bib soon as it works.

LOVE THIS MASK
I bought this a few months ago. I had been looking on amazon for some various LED lights and I was also looking at the very expensive Korean brand (Desse). I was hoping to find a mask with infrared — and voila! THIS MASK IS PHENOM. It has made such a remarkable difference — firmness, lightened discoloration, I look less tired. It’s amazing. Highly recommend. It’s also so relaxing. I often dose off. You won’t regret this purchase!

Life changing
I’m writing this to hopefully help fellow sufferers from rosacea and sensitivity. I have not been able to find a product that helps my skin as much as this does. After 3 weeks of use 5 days a week my skin is happy and sensitivity has disappeared. I can’t say enough about this mask and how it’s literally transformed my skin.
