The Lasso Lodge Cotton Blend Cardigan

If you are at all considering this sweater, do yourself a favor and just buy it. It is the best in every possible way! I fell in love with it when I saw it in the fall preview email from THE GREAT. and stopped in the Bellevue store to see it in person. The design is incredible, total vintage-inspired cowboy, and the little details of the lasso and the contrast stitching at the cuffs and hem pushed it over the top. The fit is true to size, slightly relaxed and casual but it lays perfectly on my neck and shoulders. It’s a cotton blend and, even though it has some weight to it, the cotton keeps it soft and it is as wearable on a cool summer night as it is during winter layered over a turtleneck. I have a Lodge sweater in the garden print from a couple seasons back and it is the easiest style to throw on but it will pull your casual look together. Like all Collectors items from THE GREAT. this will probably sell out fast. You do not want to miss this one, especially if (like me) you have a soft spot for 1940s western themed items. Super fun, unbelievably cute, well-designed high-quality piece you’ll have in your wardrobe forever! I did not plan on buying a $450 sweater during a heatwave but I couldn’t leave without it. Yee haw!
