The Kick It Relaxed Straight Leg Jeans

I want to start by saying I generally LOVE Mother denim, so I was rather let down. These are a very thin jean material, which didn't give them great structure in the front and rode up weirdly between the crotch and thigh. A first with any of their denim. The length was actually a bit short for a full length Mother. I have the inseam of someone that is 5'9.5" and there was enough room for maybe a kitten heel before they were looking like high waters. I couldn't get away with tennis shoes/flats though, as there would be a slight drag on the ground. They may be about 33" inseam once on vs their typical 34". ( with athletic legs). If you are 5'7" 5'8" you will be great with heels/wedges. These are meant for taller ladies; it is rather rare to find full length that fits anyone over 5'9" so unfortunately, if you are shorter, you will likely need to have them hemmed or grab a petite version. If you want them to be baggy you may need to go up a size from your regular. ( I'd order two sizes and return one, if your budget allows). If you have thicker athletic thighs/thick booty and like them fitted, your regular size should be fine* though you run the risk of the bunching at the top of the thigh/crotch. If you're bottom half is lean you will likely be fine at your regular size and perhaps the lack of structure wont cause bunching.

The description says these jeans are a relaxed straight leg fit. The pair that I received was more like skinny jeans and they were way too small. There was nothing relaxed or straight about them. I even double checked the tags to make sure I received the correct item. I did. I'm very disappointed. Also the description says the jeans are a blend of cotton, modal, polyester and esastane. The jeans I received were 98% cotton and 2% elastane. Needless to say, I am returning.
