AMAZING post chemo and with Lupus SLE
I just turned 50, just finished chemo and will forever battle Lupus SLE. My skin has been thru the ringer. I have the lupus rash when I flare and my skin is dry/combo. I have been using La Mer products since my 50th as a gift to me (Sept 3, 2021) and it’s been a month and holy cow I am a believer. My skin went from blotchy and dry to Dewey and amazing. My fav La Mer product is this treatment mask. I put it on after the serum (I use Génifique) and then I follow with La Mer Emulsion for day or Crème de La Mer at night. When the crème runs out I will prob go less expensive for my moisturizer but I will never stop using the mask. You can just FEEL it working. It soothes my sensitive skin, I absolutely love it. The pictures are without any makeup (mascara, oops) only La Mer creams. Treat yourself!!

seals in moisture with petroleum jelly
I purchased 3 le mer products. Shortly afterwards, this 54 year old woman began experiencing deep, painful cystic acne. I spent months (and a lot of money) trying to figure out why: stress? Hormones? Primer? Foundation? It couldn’t possibly be one of the most expensive skin care lines. I went to doctors, had facials. It was a Nordstrom employee helping me find a concealer to cover the scars that alerted me to the petroleum jelly. It’s like the 3rd ingredient! Pre-pandemic, I’m sure someone at Nordstrom would have led me to a different brand - but buying online, we rely on reviews. These products seal in moisture alright, but if you are one of the few that don’t break out from petroleum jelly clogging your pores and sealing in oils, dirt and pollution, you could spend $3 on Vaseline and layer it over your nicer skincare products. Nordstrom gets 10 stars for their customer experience. Le Mer should either reformulate or clearly label that this causes acne. It will likely take years to get my flawless skin back, if ever.

Truly A Miracle...
I must admit, I have always been a fan of La Mer but have also used many other skincare products. NOW... THIS product blows my mind, totally revolutionized my beauty regimen this past week. I thought all "masks" were something one wears in hiding, under the covers, overnight... But this one is for during the day and it truly works, it does everything they say it will do. I wore it on a red eye flight cross-country and it protected AND hydrated my skin in that air conditioned environment. I felt so much better at the end of the flight that I reapplied it the next day...and the next... It helps to put your moisturizer over the mask once the mask has been absorbed. Takes about 5-8 minutes. Left me revitalized, dewy, and hydrated. Kind of a miracle in every sense of the word. ...one word of caution (that the La Mer counter tipped me to) is that you tap it with the cap on top a couple of times to get the mask to go to the bottom or it can come out when you open the cap. I just turned 44 and still get carded...I am convinced I owe some of that to La Mer.

Great Multi Use Mask
I did not think I would like this product as I do not often use a mask especially to sleep in at night. The sales person at the Nordstroms store explained that it could be used under makeup as well as at night when you sleep or during the day. I swim daily so I have been using it after swimming and my face stays so soft. I am surprised that I like it so much. Sometimes I layer the soft cream over the top and sometimes I just wear this alone. Not at all greasy. So far I have not met a La Mer product I do not like and my skin is sensitive. No problems with breakouts or redness with any of the La Mer Products.

I got this in a sample as part of a previous purchase and recently tried it during the winter cold storm. It smells nice, goes on like a smooth lotion (recommend you exfoliate first) and then you wipe off any excess after 8 minutes with a cloth/tissue. My skin felt smoother and looked better instantly and the mask seriously relieved the winter dry skin I was experiencing! I have sensitive skin that easily breaks out and this was not irritating at all and instead very soothing. I ordered the full size and have used several times since (using 2 times per week) with similar results. I also feel that this is helping reduce breakouts and improve healing. Highly recommend!!!
