A Disappointing Turn for a Classic Oxford
What was once a sturdy, textured Oxford cloth has been replaced with a noticeably thinner, flatter fabric that lacks the signature basket weave density that made these shirts special. The material feels lighter in the hand, but not in a premium way—more like a cost-saving measure disguised as “modern comfort.” The shirt no longer has that crisp structure that allows an Oxford to age beautifully over time
