'City' Faux Leather Diaper Backpack

I searched high and low for the perfect commuter backpack, and this is IT! Easily fits a 15" Macbook Pro with room to spare (very hard to find in stylish women's backpacks). The high-quality gold zippers and pulls are a beautiful accent that really give the bag a luxury feel. The padded shoulder straps are contoured just right and are super comfy. You cannot tell that this is a diaper bag by just looking at it, but if that's what you're using it for, all the features are there. The insulated outer pocket is a nice bonus and keeps drinks or snacks nice and cool. The quick-access zipper in the back is a nice touch for grabbing wipes or a diaper without having to open the main compartment. The inner "bottle" pockets also fit a slim water bottle or umbrella. I have worn it in the rain, and the thick vegan leather with inner lining really keeps the everything inside nice and dry, and it doesn't absorb moisture like real leather. In the inner compartment alone I can fit: 15" laptop, Kindle, water bottle, small umbrella, bento box, notebook, keys, lipstick and a light jacket. My only complaint the first week was when I had it packed to maximum capacity, the main zipper started to open up as I walked. I believe it has to do with the slightly diagonal placing of the main zipper (which is also a great feature which allows you to open the bag wide)—when pushed from the inside with enough force, the smooth zipper wants to glide open. It's an easy fix—now I just zip so that both pulls are down to one side instead of centered in the middle. No issue since. The best part? It's about $150 cheaper than the only other bag I could find that would fit everything I needed (the Tumi Calais). I think it looks better, too.
