The High Waist Metallic Bikini Bottoms

I'm really surprised by all of the positive reviews. These swim bottoms are mediocre, at best, for this price point. I can't believe I have to say this, but no one, and I mean no one, wants seams that aren't smooth and create bulges! While the description does not say this is compressive or supportive (I don't think?), the photo does absolutely look like this is a smoothing and supportive material. I am eight months postpartum after C-section, 5'7, 169 lbs, size 12 and ordered the size large based on the size chart. They definitely fit and a size up would have been too big, but there was zero support or smoothing. I am returning sadly- the cactus shimmer is gorgeous but I have no interest in a swimsuit that doesn't flatter.
