What it is: A base coat for healthy natural nails.
What it does: The polish doubles as a base coat and a nail strengthener. It helps strengthen, moisturize and protect, all in one go. It is formulated to prolong polish adhesion and prevent cracks. Fortifying horsetail leaf extract helps to strengthen weak, brittle, thing nails. Vitamin E quenches parched nails with a surge of moisture.
How to use: Apply the polish on dry, clean nails. Apply solo one to two times a week or wear under your favorite polish to strengthen nails.

My favorite base coat! Love!!
My go to base coat. Protects from polish staining, dries quickly, helps polish last longer. I use it with indie polishes as well as mainstream brands (Chanel, OPI, etc) and have good results with all. I appreciate that it’s at least 8 free and I like to think that it protects my nails from the toxic stuff in some of my older polish collection, before a lot of the chemicals (which made many vintage polishes perform so well) were removed. Sometimes I’ll do a double coat if I’m using a polish that really stains or one of my original black label OPI treasures. Glad Nordstrom is carrying Tenoverten, it’s not the easiest brand to find. Highly recommend!

Tenoverten Base Coat
Purchased to use as a clear coat alone. Unfortunately it is too thick, really sticky and gloopy; coverage was poor and left an uneven texture. Couldn’t add more polish to fix it without messing up the whole nail. Started cracking and flaking the next day. Really disappointing product.
