'Beglad' Leather Ankle Strap Sandal

First I ordered size 9. When they arrived I loved the look but felt they were too large. I put them aside and ordered them in a different color in 8.5. They arrived today and fit so much better, so the larger ones will go back. I liked the darker color of the large ones so I may need to order that color in 8.5!

This shoe is life changing. I never knew I could find a shoe that was stylish and comfortable at the same time. I no longer have to wear sneakers to go to the mall to be comfortable. These look great and I can walk forever when I am wearing them. Thanks Nordstrom for bringing these to the market place.

These shoes are comfortable right out of the box. The leather is soft and supple, and the wedge is low enough to provide hours of comfort while walking or being on your feet for hours. These run large. I'm usually a 7 or 7.5 and mistakenly ordered the 7.5s in black. Loved the comfort level, but there was too much extra toe room ( and I have long toes), so I sent them back and ordered the 7s in both colors. Much better fit but still a little roomy, so I ordered them in a 6.5, and THEY fit as well and were a little more snug-fitting. I'm not sure which size to keep. I feel that in the hot summer heat, the 7s will be a better fit. In early spring/fall, the 6.5s will be perfect. Maybe I'll keep them ALL!! They're THAT comfortable!! Sorry if this sounds confusing, but sharing this info with you may save you returns and unneeded frustrations when deciding on a size. The thick, leather Velcro ankle strap provides a very stabilizing, quick and easy entry which makes these the perfect, casual, everyday sandal.

I purchased these shoes after reading the reviews. The shoes are comfortable and lightweight and have great heel support. I was concerned they would look bulky because of the ankle strap and the strap is actually flirty and fashionable. I am average height and wear size 8.5 and I always worry that sandals with ankle straps make my feet appear larger and they look really nice. I actually bought the sandals in size 8 because some of the reviews said they ran slightly large. My opinion is the shoes run true to size and I will have to exchange them for an 8.5.

This shoe looks even better in person and feels like a dream. However, the velcro for the ankle strap is a bit off for me, leaving only a fraction of an inch of 'catch' to it. I have very thin ankles, so it would probably work better for most everyone else. Still stays locked, though. One shoe fits the foot better than the other. The upper of the right is slightly larger, which could mean I have different sized/width feet, but I think because the shoe design tries to fit every point of looks and comfort, its shortcomings are a bit more obvious. However, I won't return these and wear them twice a week at least. They look great and I'm hoping some sort of sole pad will prevent the sliding for the shoe whose upper is a big larger. I love them anyway, and get compliments on them every time I wear them. No discomfort, rubbing or chaffing. Very soft, all the way around.

My first pair were too large but a friend wanted them before i had a chance go return them. She wore them that day to an event and everyone wanted to try them on. I bought two pair a half size smaller and love them. The leather is so soft, they are comfortable all day, they are very attractive.
