A Lovely Glow and Sheen...
Christine at KofP Nordstrom sent me a couple of samples with my recent Lamer order, and what a surprise! I've used for 3 days now and noticed a marked lovely glow and sheen; moreso, than even the original Creme de lamer. Most remarkable is how balanced my normal to dry face feels. This would be effective for all skin types, I believe. The texture is gel-cream like, applies easily, and serves as a nice smooth palette for applying makeup. It almost feels like the perfecting cream, only better. Try this, please, and see if you're not blown away!! Thank you. Xo

Not the same creams as before
La Mer co. has changed all three of their popular creams, Moisturizing Gel Cream, The Soft Cream, and The Original La Mer cream. they have substituted cheaper ingredients like vegetable oils for the more expensive ingredients they used to use. You will notice a difference right away. Their sites are using the good reviews from the former creams. What a shame this is. these creams are being returned all over the country, I returned the two I bought from a Nordstrom store.

Not so good
I was not impressed with this cream at all. I felt it was lacking moisture so I had to return it. I really like some of the items by Lamer, this one struck out unfortunately.

Nice and light
This is the old gel cream with a new name. I personally don’t care for it as it’s probably best for someone who is young and with dehydrated skin. A prefer the original Creme de la Mer- that is a timeless classic. The Fresh cream had no effect on my skin, which means I’m older. 😂

The sample convinced me
My beloved La Mer representative at Bellevue Nordy’s gave me a sample of the fresh cream and I’m going to go back for the full size. For decades, I’ve sworn by the Moisturizing Cream - still do - it’s a workhorse, the best of the best. But this is lighter, cloud-like, smooth and soft and is the perfect daytime complement that moisturizes and also keeps skin feeling “bouncy” and fresh (as the name would imply)! Can’t say enough good about this. I’m using it along with the new lifting serum this week, love the results. I also use the concentrate and other serums / creams. Huge fan of La Mer. Always will be.

I get the hype
I’ve been meaning to try La Mer to compare it with Augustinus Bader. This creme is very good with hydration, a little goes a long way and it leaves my skin soft and supple. Perfect for winter season. Love that its unscented and the texture is rich.
