The color is great and the material is a nice weight, but these are enormous! From top to bottom, waist, hips, legs. HUGE.

MOTHER
Founded in 2010 by premium-denim industry pros Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding, MOTHER specializes in collections that present a juxtaposition of hard and soft. The brand evokes teenage rebellion, unconditional love and hilarious insult all at the same time (the company's name is a play on the duality of the word "mother," which can be nurturing or a cuss).

Hybrid style of wide leg and barrel jeans
With so many styles of jeans available, this one strikes a great balance between classic and modern. I initially ordered the Mother Half Pipe style (barrel) jeans, but they didn’t fit well on me. Since I’m 5’2” and curvy, I had to size up and ended up returning them. This style, on the other hand, was a much better fit for my body type, and the fabric was more comfortable. I ordered my usual size in Mother jeans and will definitely keep this one!
