Who it's for: Designed for dry, mature, sensitive, oily, and combination skin types and customizable to your skin’s unique needs.

What it does: Developed with globally-recognized aesthetician Melanie Grant and formulated to encourage considered cleansing and mindful exfoliation to reveal naturally healthy skin. First, a cushioning oil cleanser removes all traces of makeup, sunscreen, dirt and pollution while hydrating and cosseting skin. Second, a lactic acid gel cleanser gently exfoliates and refines to imbue skin with a natural luminosity.

Not worth it

I purchased the duo because I typically double cleanse my face at night when I wear makeup. The oil cleanser is not effective. You probably can get better results just using water. It feels like they mixed vegetable oil and silicone together. The face wash is not bad, but it smells like vinegar. Both bottles are tiny and will likely run out in two to three months. If you are into bougie cleansers, go with La Prairie!

Very gentle products, but takes time getting used

Pros: I really like both cleansers in this set. The products feel very high-end, and they do a wonderful job of leaving your skin feeling refreshed and clean without any heavy or oily residue. The face wash doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. Cons: My only adjustment is with the cleansing gel. It does lather, but only very lightly, which takes some getting used to. Combined with the fact that it is a two-step routine, it just requires a bit more time and effort than a standard face wash to get used to.

Cleansing Duo

This is expensive but oh so gorgeous to use. The oil is divine and a smile inducer, the lactic acid is gentle and effective on my sensitive ageing skin. I do take of make up with an alternative first and use this for a second cleanse, only because of the cost. It's expensive and for that reason i also don't use it daily anymore, but I would if I could comfortably fund it or it ever comes down in price. Gorgeous!

VERY GOOD

I absolutely love this cleansing balm! It’s definitely up there as one of my favourites. The smell is very discreet and it isn’t overpowering like a lot of other cleansing balms I’ve purchased in the past. I have purchased a few more, and I’ll be exploring other products from the brand. I would recommend to this anyone!

Cleansing duo

This oil is the most divine beautiful oil cleanser I’ve ever found. Non greasy, gentle easy to use and soft feeling skin after. It’s a dream, but luxury, product. The lactic acid is decent, I use it, I assume it’s working but difficult to know. I trust VB though so keep buying as a duo!
