The Crest Lock Leather Bucket Bag

I ordered this bag in the hazelnut tan color. The leather is beautiful, buttery soft, with beautiful microsuede lining. It is 100% a bucket bag and looks best when being held by the arm handle. Wearing as a crossbody: it's a bit large, as it flattens a bit doing so... I don't really care though. The size of this bag is excellent for us moms who need 500 items and this is that perfect size to carry it all.

I love the style and bag materials; however after using the bag for a few weeks now I am able to see why it’s being sold so discounted since there are numerous design flaws. 1. Bag closure / clasp - the strap for the clasp is far too long and therefore the bag gapes open constantly. I am considering taking it to a leather store to have them shorten the strap for the closure. 2. Longer shoulder strap - for a petite individual this strap is far too long. I got extra holes put in mine so that it didn’t fall too low. 3. Straps overall - the diameter of the straps is too thin. It doesn’t bother me as much for the shorter strap but it would have been better for both straps diameter to be thicker. It is slightly uncomfortable, wearing the shoulder strap because the strap is so thin in diameter. Overall, I’m not sure if I regret the purchase yet or not but I will likely get the closure strap shortened to see if that helps as the bag gaping open is what bothers me the most about the bag.
