My favorite cleanser

I love this product. I heard a TV personality talk about it being her go to use it everyday product and she's someone that is well versed in many products. I met her on a trip and she mentioned she LOVED the gentleness of this product but how it literally dissolves your make-up and leaves your skin clean and yet moisturized. So...I bought it and it is amazing. And...she said at night, use it to clean your face and wipe away all the dirt & make up & residue. Then put some on your skin to sleep in, let it just soak into your skin and I swear, my skin looks softer and prettier the next morning. Less lines & a smoother complexion.

Does not remove eye make up

I was not impressed. Did not remove my eye make up. It left my skin dried and my skin is combo. The texture is creamy but did not feel the same way it felt on my skin after it was washed off.

Effective First Cleanse

I’ve been doing an oil-based first cleanse for a few years now and have found some really great products. This is my favorite balm option because it isn’t hard/waxy like others in the same category. This one is almost like a gel so it’s easy to scoop up and then immediately melts down to an oil when worked into the skin for an easy spread.

Overall a good cleanser.

Really like this one. Isn't too harsh, no irritation (almost everything makes my skin break out usually) so I'm very pleased. Docked one star for product not containing a spatula.. I used one from a different product I own, otherwise you have to stick finger in it every time making it a germy mess!

Works for Me!

I have aging skin that is also incredibly sensitive and dry. I have tried Avene and other "gentle" cleansers that worked basically just ok. I read about the Elemis Cleansing Balm while perusing one of my Beauty newsfeeds. The rave reviews convinced me I should try it. I went to Nordstrom to purchase the product and was pleasantly surprised to find the Naked version--no dies, no fragrances. I looked at the ingredients list. The first ingredient was Sweet Almond oil, which I am not sensitive to! The Elemis Naked Balm has really saved my skin through the winter dryness. It hydrates! I love it! It's now my go-to and I can't wait to try other Elemis items!
